I love Tbilisi. Maybe because I lived there for four years, maybe because Ukraine nowadays is impressed by the results of e-governance development and how it improved service delivery to citizens in Georgia. We were lucky that the representatives of Tbilisi City Hall came to share their experience with the participants of the Smart City conference.
Mari Marsagishvili and Gela Talakhadze from the Architecture Service of Tbilisi City Council shared the types of services offered by Tbilisi as a smart city to both citizens and tourists:
- A control centre for emergency services "112" (fire station-rescue service, police, ambulance)
- A mobile application "Tbilisi. Loves you"
- Electronic bus route indicators
- TBILISI The Internet City
- Online applications for construction permits "Construct easily"
- Electronic auctions "Purchase without risk"
- Online applications for ritual (funeral) services "Hermes"
- Civil Registry online services
- Public Registry online services
- Revenue Office
