Executive committee of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council has approved decree on holding competition “2011 Best AMCH” and the panel. The Competition will last through December 31, 2011.
The competition aims at increasing initiative of the AMCHs and improvement of their interactions with local self-government bodies, housing enterprises, local deputies on housing fund issues and related issues, including amended living conditions, joint activity, landscaping Ivano-Frankivsk and stipulation of new ACMH establishment.
The competition fund amounts to 14 000 UAH.
The winners will be decorated with certificates by Mayor and will receive money awards:
- 1st place – 4 000 UAH;
- 2nd place – 3 000 UAH
- 3rd place – 2 500 UAH
- Three encouraging places – 1 500 UAH for each holder.
In order to consult on ACMH establishment within the framework of the project “Community participation in local self-government by ACMH establishment and social partnership” by the State Foundation for Local Self-Government Encouraging in partnership with the UNDP/MGSDP the resource centre arranges and holds trainings for residents of houses and consider the following questions:
- Establishment of ACMHs
- Opportunities for residents to improve living conditions
- Participation of AMCH in general state and programs and projects
- Participation of AMCH in waste separation and solution of ecological problems
So far as many as 6 training classes have been held out of planned 10. The trainings will result in publication of leaflet “Experience of Ivano-Frankivsk community in implementation of governance and sustainable development principles”.
