On August 25-27 in Yevpatoriya the informational and educational seminar on the topic “Associations of co-owners of multiapartment houses – creation, activities, contribution to reformation of the housing and municipal economy and experience of other cities” was held in participation of 120 representatives of ACMHs, initiatives groups of multiapartment houses and members of the local councils. The course of lectures, presentations and videomaterials presented during the seminar was elaborated in framework of the UNDP-led project “Municipal Governance and Sustainable Development Programme”.
Yevpatoria authorities share and support the idea of housing reformation and establishment of the AMCH, as a priority direction of general state program. In this view from April 2011 a center to consult on ACMH operates in Yevpatoria. The center provides detailed information on establishment of AMCH, explains main goals and advantages of AMCH. Presently, as many as 77 ACMH have been established in Yevpatoria.
In response to Yevpatoria City Council bid UNDP/MGSDP expert Leonid Tulovskyi held a seminar on ACMH for representatives of the ACMH, initiative groups and local deputies. The seminar enabled the participants to learn the relevant law, procedures of ACMH establishment, property rights, relations between co-owners of common territory, their rights and obligations and procedure of placing the house at balance. Mr Tulovsky also spoke in details about methods to plan ACMH activity, requirements and norm of managing multi-apartment house and nearby territory, budget drafting, calculation of expenses from the budget and other issues. Within the framework of the seminar Rivne presented successful experience of sustainable development city program.
Taking the floor at the seminar Sergiy Strelbytskyi, Yevpatoria Deputy Mayor stressed a necessity of housing reformation in the city and on behalf of the Yevpatoria City Council promised support to initiative groups on establishment of the ACMHs.
